Great stop on the way to the Black Hills
We stopped at Betts for a night on our way to the Black Hills and it was a great stop. The Corn Palace is near by and our kids had a great time in the outdoor pool. The bathrooms were nice and the camp sites had shade and space. A very friendly family owns the place.

This campground is about 1.5 hours from the twin cities and it has a beautiful sandy beach and swimming area. There is also a fishing pier and boat launch available, great lake for water ski and other water sports. Fishing is mostly pan but you can catch large bass and northern on this lake. The sites are not large and not wooded. It does not have a rustic feel, more like a vacation neighborhood… with friendly neighbors!
