I have camped here several times over the last several years. They have re paved the road and pull thru sites and also updated the power and water. All the water front sites are even numbers and there is primitive camping as well. The bathhouse need to be updated and isn’t well maintained but it works.
I enjoy camping here due to east access to the water and fishing. Kids are always playing and riding bikes.
Stayed here over Labor Day weekend on site 19 it was a pull thru site, like most here. Check in was easy called the number on the office the camp host confirmed my site and met us there. Gave us the lay of the land and cover the “rules” stay, have fun, and be courteous. We had a boat for the first 2 days which was nice easy access to the boat ramps. Last day we walked to the water from our site and had a great time. Showers are a bit older and hot water is either boiling or just enough. The park is older but I enjoyed that about it.
Was able to set up 2 big tents and still have room for kids and dogs to move around. I can’t wit to go back!
