Full hook up sites but not much space for larger rigs. 20, 30 and 50 amp plugs. Gravel parking but next to a park.
First, there is no dump station! All sites have water and electricity with 20, 30, and 60 amp plugs. The sites are 20 dollars. The campsites located near the entrance are pull-through but need maintenance. The campsites along the lake will support short to medium length RVs or trailers, and all are back in. As of this posting, all are not level and in poor condition. The city of Huneston, Iowa is a few minutes away and has several gas stations and a grocery store.
Decent dispersed camping with room for any sized camping rig. Okay area for star gazing except toward Escalante to the northwest.
The RV park was clean but the restrooms/showers were in bad shape. The wooden doors on all of the bathrooms were swollen and would not shut. As noted on other reviews, Meteor Crater is worth the visit.
The sites were very nice and clean with some sites in the woods and others in the clearing. The sites in the clearing have concrete telescope pads. The pit toilets were like brand new with solar lighting. Big rigs would have trouble fitting into this campground.
Datil, Mew Mexico is a few minutes away and has a combined gas station, restaurant, and grocery store for your needs.
And, a few miles west on US 60 is Pie Town, New Mexico with two bakery's that sale fresh baked pies. But they sale out quickly.
Only 4 camp sites but overnight camping in the parking lot is allowed. great views of the sunset but not a dark sky site as Roswell, New Mexico is visible to the southwest. Visited during the middle of the week so we were the only campers at the site. This is an OHV park so probably busy during weekends. The pit toilet was clean.
The campground was clean and quiet with water and electricity at each site. The dump station was set aside from the camp sites. The trees at the campground were recently planted so no shade. The best part is that there is plenty of room between camp sites so your not camping on top of your neighbors. Playground and bathrooms on site.
Clean campground, 4 sites with electricity and water ($20). Many sites without electricity ($10). The noise is from the 4-BNSF trains per hour coming from/going to the Wyoming coal fields.
