Usually Relaxing and Quiet.

First of all, the camp supervisor is absolutely amazing. He's sweet and kind and happy to help with any questions or concerns.

The lake is beautiful and often covered in lilies. Even in the heat of the summer, the breeze off the lake, coupled with the shade of the trees, keeps it cooler than most of the area nearby.

There are plenty of lovely little locations to fish from shore and even a swimming area with tables nearby.

Every picnic area and campsite has a nice Hand-Made grill to cook on. (Depending on your site, you may have to scrub it first.) See if you can find the one with the bird on it!

All in all, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing campground to just rest and recoup, this is a great spot to visit.

Gorgeous and Quiet

It was well-kempt and lovely. Very quiet and the facilities were in great shape. Lots of variety in sites including lots of nice places for tents.

The RV sites were a bit cramped due to the trees being very close to the pad. I couldn't put out my awning at the site i ended up in. The trees in the way are all marked, which leads me to believe they're in the process of thinning them out, which will make parking a lot less difficult. Water pressure wasn't great, so make sure your water pump is working. The staff was super accommodating and helpful when I asked to stay another couple nights at my spot last second.

The lake is beautiful and fun to kayak around all the little inlets. Lots of wildlife to watch.

Excellent Campground

It was fairly quiet most of the time with only a couple obnoxious disturbances from boys in tricked out trucks.

The water is beautiful, as is the camp itself.

Only downside is a serious lack of phone signal.

But I'll definitely be back.
