Close to Big Sur

The facilities and sites were very nice, but it was extremely busy.

Great Views and quiet evenings

Our only complaint was the bathrooms were a little dirty, but other than that, the camp ground was great. We paid for a larger site but only had two of us and it made for a ton of space between us and the people around. Woke up to the sun bouncing off the lake. Great place to stay.

Nice Campground with clean facilities.

We stayed here after our Lost and found bike ride and it was great. There was tons of shade, common area bathrooms and no fees for adding a second vehicle to a site. We were able to share a site which helps with cost. Close to the lake but far from the road when you are down in the camp site sleeping so it's nice at night.

Quiet but Convenient

These camp sites are nestled in a neighborhood on West shore. That means it's close to the road, Sunnyside, a deli, the beach, bike trails, etc and about 10 minutes to Tahoe City. We stayed two nights and had quiet nights. Only complaint is tons of pollen.

Decent sites, lots of lurkers

Camp site was fine for the price and had free showers. our only complaint was at night, there were tons of people walking around who weren't staying there.

Darkest night of sleep in my life

Great camp sites. They're small so only tents and vehicles can camp there. Running water nearby most camp sites and trails to explore to waterfalls and lime depository locations. Darkest night I have ever slept through.

Awesome views, quiet night.

Aoit a half mile hike or less to the camp sites, a locked gate at the entrance and only five sites. If you can get a spot, camp here. It's worth every bit of time. The camp has it's own beach and is right by an old missile sight you can check out. Highly recommended.
