Pit toilets available. There are a few level spots for camp trailers. Right next to the lake with a little beach available. A favored local spot.
There isn't a lot of privacy at this campground, but it's right next to the lake and makes for a good launching spot. There was a fire that clearly devastated the area - I'm sure there was once a lot of tree cover.
Beautiful campsite. Surrounded by redwoods, how could you go wrong. This campground is right next to river. Not far from Brookings or Cresent City. Will stay here again!
An easy camp spot. The further down the loops the better the sites are. Some sites are close to others. The walk down to the lake isn't far. Nice for a get away! They also have cabins that you can reserve and a small store at the campground.
Dry Camp with pit toilets. No designated campsites, find a fire ring and make your spot. Beautiful spot, watch out for the cows!
My husband and I took a quick trip to North Eastern California for some rock hounding. We came upon this campground toward the end of the evening. It's a dry camp ground with pit toilets. The best part was that there were not designated camp sites - find a fire ring, and camp away. Our nearest neighbor was well over 200 yards away. It was a great spot and perfect for 4th of July weekend. We will definitely be returning to this location!
