Our favorite place so far! What an absolutely beautiful state park. We were in a 30 ft motorhome and had a fantastic site right by the playground which was so fun for our little girls. Very clean campground with friendly folks all around. There was firewood for purchase and we had a great time. Beautiful walking trails along the lake. Breathtaking in the fall!
Really easy to find right off I-80. We stopped for one night only. There’s a playground which our kids loved. Road noise is kind of loud if you’re outside. We travel with a white noise machine so it didn’t bother us at night.
We loved this place! It was so quiet and peaceful out here. There’s a playground which our little girls loved! Definitely one of the more primitive places if you’re in an RV. It looked like there was potable water available but we didn’t use it. Also we could not locate the dump station so not really sure if there is one. Really affordable. $15 for an electric site. First come/ first serve. They never fill up apparently.
Kind of pricy for what it is. We paid almost $50 for full hook ups on the second level. A back in site really close to two other RVs on dirt/rocks. But even though it’s right off the highway it was reasonably quiet. There seem to be three levels with the bottom level by the creek, with mostly partial hookups, looking the most attractive. It was closed for the winter as of Oct 9th though. The bottom level also had nice grassy areas for kids to play in. Bring your fishing pole as they do let you fish in the creek. There was laundry available though no change machine so bring quarters. Apparently there was also a hot tub. It was a decent place though overpriced imho.
