Just having purchased the travel trailer we are going to travel the USA in, we decided to take a short trip and head to the nearest park. We live 7 miles down the road but I had never camped. We got there early, around 2:15 and checked in. Camp host was not enjoyable. (Perhaps a long day?) Made comments that came across as short. Not welcoming in any way. I dont believe he even introduced himself.

The site was clean. The hook ups were easy. Quiet. We went mod week, but the neighbors were basically un-heard. Very respectful neighbors. Dog friendly as long as they are leashed. Active park. Beautiful views along the water sites. Easy walking trail for sunrise or sunset walks.
