I love coming here a few times a year, it’s close to the highway but stay on the opposite side of the lake and it’s hardly noticeable. Excellent stop for a week or just for a night. Large playground for kids and excellent catch and release fishing.

Beautiful state park, we always stop for a night when crossing the bridge.

Off the main roadways a bit, the road going in needs some work but the park itself is beautiful. Just stay away if mosquitos and flys turn you off
