This is a close to home campground for me. Great lake for swimming, kayaking (no gas powered boats), and winter/summer fishing for brown trout and small mouth bass. Right around the corner from the ATV trails (some noise during the day), but at night so peaceful and quiet you wont have to rock the kids to sleep. Great for a day or a week or 2. No flushables/showers or power. Just your typical rustic campground.
Nice, accommodating, peacful
I have stayed at the campground as well as just made day trip visits for hiking. The campground is always clean, quiet, and beautiful. Some sites even back up to the river and make for a soothing nights sleep for tent campers after hiking the miles of trails near the campground. Fishing is not bad either.
