Neat spot nestled in Emerald Bay

We stayed here in the early summer in the end of May. The weather was still cooler and there were not a lot of bugs. This spot was nice as it was big enough for the few people staying here to spread out so we definitely had some space to ourselves.

You can pay various ways including in person at the station in town, over the phone, or through an app on your phone.

There is a vault toilet and dumpster, and each spot had an old car wheel to use as a fire pit.

You can walk about 100 yards down the to a rocky beach with awesome views of the town and surrounding mountains.

Great spot during the shoulder season

I've only ever stayed the night during the shoulder seasons, and not during the prime tourist rush. The spots are decently sized and the tent spots have a tent pad that is level and root free! In the height of the tourist season it will fill up completely and feel kind of closterphobic with how tightly packed the spots are.
