The wind was consistently 25mph+ the whole weekend, but the hiking and alpine lakes just off the campground were great. Camp sites were well taken care of and each had a level tent spot and ample parking.

Easy access, paved road all the way up the canyon. Only a few sites that back up to the creek. Amazing sunset with the red canyon wall in the background. Intermittent cell service.

We had the whole campground to ourselves. Very nice facilities and clean camp sites, some secluded more than others. Getting to the site from either direction is simple and the roads were in good shape. No cell service.
