Spent a Saturday night up on Prewitt ridge and the views and sunset were unbeatable. Definitely recommend a 4wd and a higher clearance vehicle. Got to the grounds at 1pm and was able to find a good spot, but it did fill up quickly after that. Most campsites are not shaded so bring some sort of covering because it does get hot and the sun can be intense.
