Booked three nights, stayed two of them in our van. Sites are sort of level, some are on a hill so will need some leveling.

Pull through sites are turnout style, so it can get a little cramped, and navigating a larger vehicle could be difficult if your neighbors arent courteous and park fully out of the road.

Generator use is allowed between 8AM - 8PM, did our neighbors listen to this rule? NOPE 5AM loudest generator on the planet was started up right across the road from us. Staff did nothing, even though it ran until 9am.

Other than this the campground was reasonably quiet. 

We opted not to stay the last night we had booked here because of how much smoke there was from people and their campfires. You can visibly see it roll of the hill and onto the lake come dusk and if you open your door its almost instant campfire smell/smoke in the RV (Van). Stayed at Fishing Bridge the rest of the trip because no campfires!

We stayed in a large pull through site in our van because it was all that was available during last minute booking. We enjoyed a single night here on a level gravel pad with clean private showers nearby, and we were able to sleep in because of a long travel day.

Pulled in late and it was easy enough to navigate in the dark. Bathrooms were mediocre. Site was level. Campground was quiet.

Stayed a week here to have access to GCNP and the surrounding NM and NPs within 2 hours of Flagstaff. 

The private bathrooms were cleaned daily in the AM and the sites were relatively level.

Came in late for a quick stop on a trip home and needed showers, level ground, a place with quiet hours, and somewhere safe to call home for the night. And it checked those boxes. 

I was pleased with how clean the showers were at the end of the day when we came in, and in the morning, they had been bleached. 

Left before sunrise so I cannot attest to the cleanliness if the entire campground, but our site was level and tidy.

Colter Bay is my favorite.

I've stayed in the cabins here 3 years in a row and now the camping sites this year (not RV resort) and I cannot get enough of this place. 

Camping amenities are nothing fancy, nor are they bad. The bathrooms next to the sites were clean and flush which was a pleasant surprise.

The site was somewhat level, could have used blocks but we are in a van and only stayed two nights, so it was not that big of a deal. 

Showers in the "Launderette and Showers" were decently clean, nothing to complain about aside from the odd closing at 8pm. (Not really a big deal, just need to plan around it if showers are a part of a nightly routine)

We made a last-minute booking and staff was more than helpful in getting us booked over the phone past the online booking time. 

We rolled in late, and the staff made it easy for us to find our site. The site was level enough to not need blocks, but blocks would have been useful if it wasn't just for one night. 

The showers were extremely clean, but I still would suggest shower shoes. They were close and accessible from our site and the showers were private with a locking door. 

We did get to view the aurora borealis that night next to the silhouette of the tower, which was really cool. 

Overall it was a very clean, quiet, and nice KOA. I will be staying here again if in the area.

Stayed one night in a converted Sprinter while traveling through South Dakota, we needed a place with showers. 

The showers and restrooms were pay to use, with a single curtain as privacy. (Men's and women's separate rooms of course) They were clean for a public shower, definitely wear shower shoes! The only complaint was the women's showers did not have working lights. 

The site itself was clean and decently level.

We rolled in after sunset and left before sunrise, so we did not have any views. FYI if walking around in the dark be careful where you step as there's hidden mud holes that will ruin your shoes.
