This is a very nice campground with level campsites, friendly office, laundry facilities, restrooms. They are in the process of updating their hook ups so part of the park was not open. We camped in the part that was not updated yet but was certainly sufficient for us. The campsites are level and not too close together and you are partially shielded from other campsites by vegetation. At the time we were there, which was in late February, early March there were lots of gnats. My husband got very bit up and we had to go in search of repellent and anti-itch medications. So definitely bring those with you if you’re going south. We certainly learned our lesson. The bathroom and shower areas are older but were clean and sufficient. There is a small lake where one can fish or boat, a playground, and picnic areas in the park. The park is full of rabbits, the domestic type of rabbit. Apparently pet rabbits escaped and bread and now they’re all over the park. They are quite tame so bring some carrots. I would definitely recommend this park For the reasonable prices and a good location.
