Go past Cave Campground take 1st left over bridge. Goto end of road after bridge look left. Go up hill. Road is rough only to top then levels out. Footbridge to main campground found midway in creek. Take creek trail. Bathrooms, garbage, water available at main campground. 1 bar lte AT&T.
Probably 15 spots. AT&T 1-2 5G. Pit toilets, 10 day max stay right on Big Lost River, fishing might be good? No garbage, water. Not bad for a 2-3 nighter.
AT&T 1-2 bars depending your location. Road in is about 5 miles, keeps going to few pullouts. Huge area for camping in groups if you continue down road make left. Use satellite view you’ll see what I’m talking about. 16 day limit. No water, garbage, restrooms, firewood everywhere no sure restrictions.
Road is about 7 miles in. But once you get back in here it’s really nice. I saw about 10+ sites. Some sites have no bars AT&T, some 1 bar. Luckily I found a site with 2. If you follow my coordinates, and nobody is there you lucked out 2 bars, and secluded. Rock fire pit, pretty large area enough for group. Road isn’t god awful, but it goes back pretty far. Lots of motor homes, Rv’s in spots. Nice cool temps, no creeks that I’ve found yet. Firewood scattered. Only disadvantage is it’s high up road, and goes back aways, so plan on 7 miles of semi rough road.
AT&T between 1-3 5G in certain camp spots. Rock fire pits, wood around. No water, garbage, nor toilets. Cool temps, road in is rough go slow. Nice shady trees. First few spots you encounter left, then right seem ok. If you go back on road about 1/2 mile or so you come to a right turnoff. If you go down the road there preferably 4x4 a nice hidden secluded spot up hill. Continue down road only saw 1 more on left, not too hidden next to road. Overall a good 3-5 day stay I would say. Check out rock hiking mountains nearby. Bring water.
AT&T 5G off and on 2 bars. Fire metal rings, pit toilets in few areas. No water, no garbage (might be garbage at entrance?). Roads spread throughout, pretty rough in some areas. Plenty of places here, views are pretty cool. Lots of hiking, biking trails. Rock formations are the star of the show. Dog friendly. 14 day limit. Town not too far maybe 5 miles for supplies. Creek near town. Not too bad for 5-14 days.
Good for a 1 nighter. Cell reception anywhere between 1-2 bars AT&T. Campfire rock rings, some secluded perch spots, road in is awful. Not far from Black Canyon National Park about a mile. Ranger told me in Winter vagrants, and college kids create issues. Was a little spooked here stayed 1 night. No garbage, no water, no bathrooms.
About 5 or so miles from Silverton. 14 day limit. Nice shady spots if you turn immediately off the entrance road when you first come in, make left immediately cool hidden spots if not taken. Fire pits, pit toilet, wood scattered, beautifully green mountains, and trees. The creek is fairly large. No water, or garbage. Cool at night. AT&T 2 bars pretty much everywhere.
Road to get there zigzagging up above ski resort. Camping spots off road. Gets quite a bit of cars, atv’s, quads, and cars passing by. Not really worth the drive to get there. Sig campground wanted $17 a night, and this place should of been free. Just not well maintained at all. Maybe 7 spots, with a pit toilet. If you made it to sig, look for 578 letter signs. These spots good for 1-2 nights, might be better spots down the road? AT&T no bars. Got pretty chilly at night so bring warm coverings.
Bathrooms, Garbage, AT&T 2 Bars. Water available. Picnic benches, nice new road, BBQ Uptops no fire rings, or Fire Rock rings seen? Shaded trees, temperatures not too bad for June month. Not too far from main highway. Right across from Peabody Rd. Go up about 5 miles or come into what looks like visitor info center. Campground to left then straight.
AT&T 2 bars. Showers, ice, wood for sale. Creek or small river for swimming. Hot in summer. Beautiful canyon. Everyone in bed by 10pm. Everyone returns back to their sites by 5-6pm from Zion Park. Plenty of stores, restaurants, laundry. A little spendy. Depends on time of year. We spent $89 a night. Winds moderate. Campsites right next to everyone. Water available.
AT&T between 2-3 bars. Fire rings. No water so bring your own. Small hiking or jogging trails. Gets pretty hot in summer months. Have a way to cool down if going in summertime. Dog friendly. Firewood not much here. Some dry deadened bushes, small scraps. Dusty. Somewhat windy at times. Bugs I hear are troublesome in day. They go away at night. Not too bad of a place.
Nice views of surrounding bluffs. Sand flies or something similar are in the thousands here, so be ready with netting. They go away at night, big nuisance in day. Small creek, and nice views of surrounding bluffs about it. Fire pits. AT&T 2 bars pretty common, sometimes 1 but still loads.
Only thing good was the views, and you can camp for 14 days. Other than that road was annoying. Spots are next to dirt road, and don’t bother going to the campground at the end of the road $5 bucks a night not bad but there were only like 3 spots, pointless. Your better off finding dispersed near Zion. No fires at my time of arrival. Makes it lame without campfires. All in all good reception AT&T getting 1-2 bars. Wouldn’t recommend unless you just need a place to crash for like 1 night. Nice scenery though, the bluffs.
Good for 2 days. Trash, and pit toilets available. No water so bring your own. Free for 14 days. AT&T getting between 1-2 bars. Netflix, YouTube everything works pretty well. Petroglyphs about 100 yards away. About 20 or so spots available. Picnic tables, fire rings, bbq uprights in each spot.
