Online reservations showed most sites booked, but on a weekday in September I had almost the entire campground to myself!  A short approximately 3 mile out and back trail starting at the camp site takes you to a nice overlook of the South Platte River as well as to the Riverside campground on the river.  In the campground I had consistent LTE data connection via Verizon and not far up the trail was getting 5G.

Not much to report - stayed the night - visited briefly with the host - would consider returning another time.

Worth noting that Verizon has *no* service at this site – not sure how to update the "unknown" status
