Newly renovated camp along Route 66 /I-40. Great amenities, clean showers and laundry and not to forget a tornado shelter.
All good for a desert camp except the light pollution from Vegas city. Don’t expect to see desert night sky
Large lake and great stop between Reno and Las Vegas. Close to the road and hardly any noise. 6$ fee, clean toilet
Clean flush toilets, free overnight, playground, safe environment. Close to I-40 without too much road noise.
Great free campground in a marvelous place. Great sunsets, clean toilets. Water only at ranger station
Sites are large and level with some pull-throughs available. Beautiful sunsets! Toilet and showers are clean but in mood repairs
Quaint little city park with RV and tent camping. To occupy a tent site you MUST pitch a tent ( so no Van camping at those). Place is quiet and clean and nice peeps
Wonderful campground. Great for star gazing. Sites are scattered across a lava field and represent a unique camping experience. If you find the campground fully booked there is a boon docking site just up the road.
Very basic camp ground with water access. The right place to get lost in Nature. Convient location to explore the Newberry crater area
Great alternative to the Sage camp ground just outside the park. Amazing views from the edge into the badlands. Heavy rain can make it difficult to master the access roads
Nicely shaded with lots of trees and hiking opportunities.
The campground is great for RVs and anybody who has a setup that doesn't rely on shaded areas. They hosts had a super efficient hygiene protocol to get you to your spot. Campground is a nice bike ride away from the Amana villages and overall a great base camp
