Excellent Paddle Boarding

Mosquitos are outta control at this campsite in June and July! If you don’t have bug spray…. Don’t come these months. We stayed at 15- great for 50’. Picnic table and fire pit. The lake wasn’t great for fishing for us this trip. Others only caught small mouth bass. There is no internet access. You get some cell service at the fishing deck. 3G and LTE with 2-3 bars.

Very peaceful… the lake was beautiful. Expect a 13 mile gravel road from Tofte.

No dump, no water and no electric hookups. There are several clean bathrooms with hand sanitizer and drinking water stations.

Serene and Starry

This campground has the best showers and toilets. Lots of beautiful trees and shade. We stayed in 19E. Plenty of trails leading to Lake Superior’s rocky shoreline. The water is cold.

Drinking water around the site and multiple outhouses near us.

19- is across from the camp host and wood is in a self serve box for $6.

Get it early - it goes quickly.

Beautiful - lush

Coming here on a Hot Day in the summer is the best. Lush trees and water to wade in. Recommend the hikes and walking the water river beds.

View Is Amazing

We stayed here in September 2020. The camp site is well maintained and the people were friendly. Showers and bathrooms were clean. The walk to the beach is steep. And the beach has pebbles. We had an awesome time. No regrets!
