We had an okay time at this site. It’s very open, but not unpleasant. They have full hook-ups, cable tv and boat rentals. The cell service wasn’t great. They also have cabins for rent. It’s right on the river and there are cute little otters that like to show off for the guests.
It’s a stunning little campground. No sewer or power, but there are vault toilets. There are lovely hiking trails and a waterfall close by.
The individual sites are pretty spacious and have a decent amount of trees. The pools were under construction so the kiddos were disappointed. The women’s shower closest to the F section was out of order as well as several of the washers and dryers. Bring quarters if you plan to wash laundry because they don’t take debit cards and there isn’t a change machine. Overall we enjoyed our 6-day stay.
We love this dispersed campground. If you go earlier in the week, you’ll most likes find a spot with no problem. If you wait till Friday evening during the summer, it’ll probably be full. There is a vault toilet, no running water. The small lake has decent fishing and great for kayaking. Dirt/gravel roads are a bit tricky to navigate.
We really enjoy it there. Just know that there is zero cell service. We didn’t mind, but if you work on the road, you won’t be able to at this site. Our kids love the waterfall and nice swimming hole. The spots and roads are all paved.
