This campground is privately owned and loved. The owner (Jeff I believe) takes great pride in this paradise in the woods. The campground is VERY well maintained. There are cute little Men/Women restrooms with clean running water and even showers. The campsites are all very different, and feel private. Lake access is perfect for swimming and fishing! They have an area of campsites that is perfect for multi/large family. Wood is everywhere, but I believe he also sells bundles. Be sure to look into fire restrictions/burn bans as this is something we have run into a couple of weekends. Usk, WA is nearby, with a small convenience store, coffee shop, and grill. You definitely travel into the mountains and out of cell service to get to Skookum though. Highly recommend!
Was passing through from Priest Lake, and landed on this campground. I normally camp at North Skookum (which has always been amazing) but wanted to give this one a whirl. It was perfect for me! Camp host very friendly, plenty of wood available throughout campground, and bundles for sale as well. Very clean. Restrooms are very clean, garbages were easy access and bear safe. I love how private the campsites feel! Thick trees are always a plus for me. Easy fishing access. So beautiful. Highly recommend!
