Beautiful cabins and water view

Definitely one of my favorite. The cabins are awesome. Bring your boat too. Enough room for golf carts. Hook up the rv or rent a cabin. If you forgot something stop at the store. Very clean. Very nice. Definitely a nice vacation.

Great place to take kids

The history is enough to make you want to come back. Feels like you stepped back in time. Gotta play the song at least once a day. Enjoy the clean amenities and revel in the history over a late night camp fire.

SKeet and indoor range are awesome

There’s a limited amount of spaces for your rv but they have tent sights too. Bring your favorite over under and plenty of clay pigeons. Or you can use the indoor range of weather isn’t permitting. It’s right on the water and beautiful. The people are always very nice. Open all year.

Great place to camp.

The area is feels like you stepped back in time. You’ll never want to leave because everyone is so nice. The campground is in the shape of a peninsula so there are many campsites with water views and access. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and the road in is very nice. If you forget something, it’s just a small trip back to town to stop at the local IGA (try the chicken salad) or eat at Paddy’s. They just rebuilt it. The campground is big enough for golf carts and small enough to walk to the beach from any side. One of my favorites.

Beautiful sites. Get a lake view.

Very nice. Very clean. The peninsula offers many sites with water views and access. There’s a great boat ramp and dock. Drive into town and eat at Paddy’s. I suggest the coffee crusted pork chop or catch your own and grill it on a provided grill. The bathrooms are clean.  Will come back.

Best riding in KY

I took my daughter to teach her how to ride my old dirt bike. I had no idea just how awesome it would be. We rode for hours and never saw the same trails. You can ride right along the lake and even drive out on the sand bar. The trails go from beginner to advanced so be careful and know look at your map. You can pick a map up at check-in. Everyone is willing to offer assistance if needed and everyone respects the road. Will definitely return.

Awesome! Incredible views

Bring your atv, dirt bike or sidexside and cruise the trails right along Lake Barkley. They have over 100 miles of trails. They also have bathrooms and showers to rinse off after a day of enjoying hiking or riding. Pull a camper, drive an RV or pitch a tent. Swimming in the summer and fishing year around. The views are spectacular.

Perfect stopping place

If you’re tired and need a quiet place to rest, look no further.  Each site has electric and water.  Back in and stay awhile. Parking is easy on the gravel lot.  It’s clean and the folks are very nice.  Light up the grill, pull out the shade and relax in the peace and quiet.  There is a nice little playground for kids as well.  Make it your next stop through.

Serene, quiet and clean

We didn’t know exactly what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by how kind everyone is. The amenities are clean and the setting is gorgeous. Felt very safe. The water is beautiful and the only sound is nature and the cracklings from the fire at night.
