Was a great last minute camping trip!

Made a last minute decision to go camping this weekend and I'm glad we did. The campground is very beautiful and well kept. The campsites are spacious and have ample space in between them. One leg of the campground is in a grove of pine trees (see photos). There's a playground for the kiddos, a modern bathroom with showers and several pit restrooms around the campground. The only downside is that the pit restrooms were not the cleanest. There's a nice lake to fish on or to rent a boat for a ride. There's also a nice little restaurant, concessions and bait store that also has fire wood & ice…..plus numerous trails around the park.

My favorite campground

This quant little campground is my favorite. There's plenty of room between sites in the electric section and there's even more room along the river in the primitive section, which is my personal favorite. The bathroom /shower house is the nicest & cleanest I've seen. The camp host's are very friendly. There's also a nice newer playground for the kids and a few trail to explore. Our favorite past time while we're there is to go tubing on the Wapsi River.

Nice, quiet out of the way campground

Eden Valley Refuge is a nice out of the way campground on the banks of Bear Creek. We stayed in the RV/Camper side of the campground which is on the other side of the road from the refuge and trails. We stayed in spot #10 with was nice and roomy. All 28 sites have electric and water. Some are a little closer together than others, but there's a few jems with plenty of space. The bathrooms are nice & clean with showers. There's also an outdoor shower. There's a nice playground for the kids and a horse shoe pit. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. There's also plenty of trails and primitive campsites on the other side of the park, but we didn't have a chance to check them out this time.

Very nice primitive campground

A very nice primitive campground. Most of the campsites are very spacious and not right on top of each other. We were in campsite #34 which had direct access to the Primrose trail, which is on top of one of the bluffs. The bathrooms were clean, but are pit toilets. While there's no water or electric on the sites, there is several water spickets located around the campground. There's also several trails to explore and some beautiful scenery to enjoy and photograph.
