Beautiful view of the lake. Restroom decently clean with showers.
Beautiful small lake. I saw people catch trout. There is a good restaurant. Very cool at night. My sight had 20 amp only but I didn’t need to run AC. Actually used heater in the morning to break the chill. Saw lots of wildlife on my bike ride. No mountain bike trails but I found some pretty scenic riding.
Very private primitive camping. Find a place in the first couple miles before the road starts to incline if you have an RV. Tents can go higher.
This is not tents only as some of the reviews say. You can have a camper up to 24’. There is no electricity or water but you can run generator from 8 am to 8 pm. Great place to park if you are catching shuttle for mountain biking. Porcupine Ridge actually ends at the campground. I highly recommend. There are tons of tree ants so bring some ant spray to treat your campsite.
Very good cross country mountain bike trails and hiking trails around the lake. You will need a mountain bike to ride the trails due to the roots.
Campground fills up so made reservations. The 11 mile loop is awesome but get there when they open. I saw lots of turkey and deer.
Two ramps and another nearby to launch boat. Great views from the campsites
Great great mountain bike trails. Shuttle available Friday-Sunday. Views are breathtaking!
Beautiful views - helpful staff - clean bathhouse - reasonable prices.
