Hidden Gems

This is an OHV area so there are plenty of dirt bikes and quads roaming through during the day to make it loud at times. But if you have a one of these this place is a blast!

I stayed in a drive up spots way in the back that I don’t most people know about. It was at the end of the season so the port-a-potties were taken the second day there, but there are toilets during season.

The sites sit right up against a creek/river and are quite peaceful at night (once all the motorbikes are done). The sites are also pretty spacious, we could fit 4 tents in ours plus a shelter. During the off season there isn’t many people here so it’s the perfect time to come if you’re cool with no toilets.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Took my family here for the first time and it was very pleasant! The spots are nicely spaced out to provide privacy and each have a fire pit and picnic table. The spaces range in size but every space that was open was more than enough to accommodate my family of 5.

There are ample amount of trails that lead down to the creek where kids can splash around in. If you want to get a more swimming vibe there is a pool of water in the creek at the day use area which is a 5 minute walk from anywhere in the campground.

You can’t beat this place for $20 a night!
