Had a great time here! We stayed in B Section which sits on top of the hill over looking the lake! Tons of grass a nice pool and hook ups for your trailer …definitely be aware of 🦨 they like to roam the sites at night! They are very used to humans so the flashlight to the eyes doesn't seem to work that much lol you do have to pay $12 if you want to go to the lake for the day. That kinda sucks but it has a cool beach section.
We really enjoyed our stay here!! Tons and tons of different kinds of campsites! They have a pool, horseshoes pit, kids playground, pool table! Working showers and relatively clean restrooms! We loved how close it is to everything. I would say it's 20 minutes in each direction to whatever you want to do! They are pretty strict on the 12pm check in bit other than that the staff is great!!
This place is a must! We stopped by for 1 night on the way to Lake Tahoe! The views are amazing, I recommend to the waterfall hike (seemed a little longer than what it says) but so worth it! The next day we did the Hot Springs pool which was relaxing! There is a regular pool also. I believe it was 1.5 hours you get which is plenty! Also listen to instructions on not leaving anything in the back of your vehicles before bed!! We had a bear in the back of my truck! Wish I could have got a picture but it snorted and ran off lol
Brite Lake is a small lake but you can definitely catch some fish! You can camp right up to the water which was awesome! It does get a little windy at times but nothing too crazy 👍
Awesome place, Campground 17 was a cool little walk to the lake! Plenty of room for shore fishing and exploring! The Ranger seems to be on it about the reservations and getting there early…We got there 2 hours early and just started setting up lol Overall solid spot 🤙🍻
