Sites are older- Corps of Engineer park purchased by Margaritaville- very few improvements made, but they are working on it. Have to be careful where you choose. Some sites are REALLY tight, and probably were never intended for campers/RV- lots of tent sites. Water pressure was low, bathhouses in need of lighting and upgrade. CAN’T say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about Josh and Tess!!! They were the best hosts ever! Expecting great things next time we come- I know they will be better! Stay in the 70-80s or the 100s
This is our second stay- had premium site before- they place your travel trailer so the trailers are facing the same way because you can’t back into the premium. . We had a pull through this week- no shade, but C2 had a nice view. We will be back for the month of November.
Everyone that had stayed here before said we had the best site! Camp hosts were wonderful. Be sure to find ALL the bathhouses! There is a newer one on the hill. Price with sr. Discount was great!
We are fairly new to the RV life - Andy tried to help us back in, and then decided he would just do it for us. He was so helpful. Everyone has been helpful. The laundry facility has an app that lets you know when your clothes are done, so you can walk back to your camper and wait instead of sitting with it. 3 or 4 activities are planned every month. There are some permanent residents, but enough transient to feel like you are with travelers. We chose it because it was close to our daughter, but would choose it again. Monthly rate is cheaper than daily rate. There is a fire pit for everyone to share, but no fire pits or grills for individual sites. Wooden decks for each site are nice. Grassy back in and some pull through- all level. Someone is always tending to the grounds and doing maintenance on the sites. We’ll be back!
