Campground was clean and well kept. Hiking was amazing with spectacular views! Go check this place out!!!
Clean campground, quiet at night except for some with some nighttime visitors aka raccoons. Mosquitoes were thick at our camping site so go prepared if your in the woods on the inlet side. Lots of great fishing and bird watching.
Campground was small, clean and quiet. The showers kinda sucked since you it had water limits on them that only last 20 seconds before you had to hit the button again. But they were extremely clean. Not much luck fishing but all the turtles were cool and just paddling around in the kayak is always a good time. The hiking was good as well. There are trails with some neat little obstacles to work out on and the historical mill was well worth the trip. By the far the highlight of ours as well. Especially since they engaged the wheel and actually ground corn! It rained every day during our 3 night stay but no one can beat the weather our campsite did flood however.
Campsite was clean though picnic table could have used some work. It was extremely busy and loud but being the weekend of Labor Day it was to be expected. Restrooms where a reck morning, noon and night all four days we stayed in 2016. But the hiking trails where great and the waterfalls amazing!! Would still go back again someday.
Always look forward to a long weekend of fishing and kayaking. Showers, restrooms and fish cleaning station are always clean.
