Camp staff knows much about the Native American heritage in this location.
Look for the scavenger hunt / cache
Love this park and the tree house "cabins". Great place to stay with the kids
Miles of biking/hiking trails at this park. Great quick getaway for those living in the Jacksonville metro area.
We went camping here as part of a group outing and while we had a great time, the campground is a bit too open for my liking.
Spent a long weekend here and had a blast. In addition to taking a boat tour to see hundreds of alligators, they host a stargazing event as well as have many other wildlife on the property. Great family friendly setting.
We camped here many times in my childhood. Beautiful forest, boating, dam views along the Wisconsin River.
This place brings back beautiful childhood memories. Fishing around the Big lake and even losing an anchor or 2 along the way :-). Sites are very wooded and quiet and clean. Also remember your bike here as there are many trails and sights to see.
Huge campground near the tip of the thumb in door county. This is one of the best kept grounds I have ever stayed at. Nice large sites with plenty to do. Remember to bring your bike!
Fort Clinch offers many activities, there's the fort itself, a long half mile pier and 3 areas to camp. One camp area is near the pier (ocean side) another is on the other side of the part (along the river) and the third and our latest stay was in the group campground, nestled just south of the riverside camping area. There's tons to do and it's kept up very well.
We've camped here 2 times over the past several years and while it has nice surrounding parks and activities, there really isn't much to this campground. It's small and flat and mainly for RVs.
Great quiet and off the beaten path campground. Clean and big sites, with multiple different options. Bring your boat, Ocean Pond is more of a lake than a pond.
We've been to this campground several times and love it each stay. Planning to go back in several months when the weather cools down. The best parts of the campground include clean sites, nice trails to the ocean and also an inlet for kayaking, canoeing, etc. We've also heard that this is a great place to stay while attending a concert / show at the St Augustine Amphitheater.
One of the best camp grounds in the area. Awesome beach access.
