Gunter Hill is a gem of a campground! Sites are spacious, long, and paved with full hookups. We were on the lake in site 28. The bathrooms & showers are older but adequate. Wished we could have stayed more than one night.

Beautiful state park nestled in the GA pines. More than seven miles of hiking trails and 12 miles of biking trails. Canoeing and kayaking available too. Sites are spacious and mostly level gravel sites and long enough that we were able to stay hooked up to the truck.

Canyon of the Eagles is a beautiful preserve with many available activities….hiking, biking, kayaking, bird watching, & star gazing to name a few. We stayed in the RV loop and the sites were mostly level with hookups and privacy. The sites were mostly shaded and generously spaced. The bathroom was nearby with small, individual rooms each with shower, toilet and sink. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. A great place to get away!
