Was so excited to try this spot and the final leg of the road is closed to the lake. I’m sure it’s gorgeous though.

Loved this drive and these views. Personally liked the spots further along the way 21 - 23. Spot #21 probably has the most amazing view but zero privacy. Most of the sites with great views are right off of the road and there’s a lot of traffic coming and going all day and even at night. Otherwise, a great spot and saw a lot of wildlife!

We lucked out with a spot with an epic view. However, this area was overrun with people (4th of July weekend). It was a loud into the late evening and we had very little privacy. Also, multiple aggressive dogs & careless dog owners. It’s a 20 minute walk down the mountain to the campsite & facilities. Windy! I would go back but not during peak season.
