My favorite campsite

Absolutely beautiful. The sites are immaculately clean. This site is kind of tucked away and doesn’t seem like it gets a ton of traffic compared to other sites in the area. I went for several days in the middle of the week and only had one neighbor. There’s nowhere to gather firewood so bring your own

Come early

I’ve been here a couple times. The site itself is in a really nice area with lots of pine trees and direct trail access. The only issue is it seems a lot of people who come here don’t know camp etiquette and leave the sites completely trashed. Fire pits buried and unusable, beer cans and trash everywhere. I’d recommend going before Memorial Day while the sites are still clean

Good nature

Beautiful area for tent camping. I hiked into the trees a bit so there weren’t super close neighbors. Plenty of downed trees for gathering firewood. There’s an old logging road that makes for an easy hike. It leads into a meadow with a very small pond which I’m sure would be good for wildlife viewing if you sat there long enough.
