Free

We needed a place to stay overnight between Moab and Phoenix. Free with water flush toilets and pretty sunsets. No fires Some of the sites are a little funky as to where you park and where the picnic table is. Several of the picnic tables are falling apart.

Each site is very different...

Be careful which site you book. Many are walk in tent sites or don’t have room for even a sprinter van. We had site number 29 which was beautiful. Definitely recommend staying in the 1-30 sites. Many back up to rocks but all are very different.

Nestled in the trees...

Gorgeous campground. Very private campsites-we has #19. Have both power and water hook up which make it a little pricey.

Amazing!🀩

Just a gorgeous state park. Difficult to get a spot here so plan ahead or hope for a cancellation. Sites 12,13,14 are amazing. The showers are nicer than ours at home.

A little ghetto

Having just come from Kodachrome State park this place is just ok. It is a bit run down but has hot showers and a nice view of the reservoir. We stayed in site LakeA (recommend) and 119 (just ok).

Pretty setting

Site #17. Campground sits right on the lake. We were there on a 75 degree day. Beware no shade and can be windy.

Better than a rest stop or wal mart

Seven miles off the freeway. Not many sites like five or six. Grassy and flat with a picnic shade. Just needed a place to sleep on our way to Utah. Be aware…bathrooms are locked and water is turned off after 10/1. We did find a open bathroom over by the boat launch.
