Been going to Tahoe as long as I can remember, both summer and winter. Always something good to do -- skiing, snowboarding, sledding, running, biking, hiking. Never a bad day, even if it's 4 degrees.

While visiting, we made friends with a moose. Well, she walked through our campsite. Very spacious and nice to have good toilets. Unfortunately, we did not summit Mt Washington :(

Been coming here since I was little. Very beautiful and not too far from San Francisco.

The best views of the Bay Area are no doubt from Mt Tam. So much great hiking in this area.

Absolutely beautiful site, totally worth the hike. As the others say, book early!

Stayed here after 21 days on the AT, the night before our Katahdin summit. Great campsite. Stellar privys, don't smell bad, aren't bug infested, and come stocked with toilet paper. Ample space at each tentsite. Beautiful, cold stream, great for filling water bottles or taking a quick dip after a long, hot day.
