Secluded rv park

Lovely little rv park just outside of town. Clean bathrooms, pool, little trail to walk to stretch your legs and well priced. 24 hr laundromat and not overcrowded. With as many empty spaces as they had, you’d think they wouldn’t have needed to put some rvs so close together.

Lovely reservoir

Campsites are well spaced, several loops available for rvs. Clean showers and bathrooms. Nice perimeter trail around the water. Boat’s available for rent. Very popular location so books up early.

Lovely lake

Lots of families camping here. Close to town and lots of day use area. Campsites pretty close together but lots of grass and trees. Clean bathrooms and pretty neighborhood for walking

Nice enough

This is primarily for long stays. Creek isn’t much to write home about. Bathrooms are ok but very hot in summer- no a/c and minimal ventilation

Fabulous little park

This park has very clean bathrooms, great showers, and grass so thick you don’t need to wear shoes! Great setting, helpful staff and out in an area of dark skies. Electricity went out at one point our first night here but we have solar panels so we’re ok.

Tra-park rv park

This place is off the highway a bit but still pretty noisy. Across the street from rec center which had fair amount of traffic in early evening. Sites are level, have good hookups and picnic tables but no trees or privacy. Fortunately the night we stopped on our way back to central Texas there were not many people here so we had no neighbors. Clean bathrooms and laundry facility.

Pie town rv park

This is a basic campground- has hookups on gravel but no trees, picnic tables near campsite tho they do have a nice bbq area available for people. Bathrooms are very basic and we’re not especially clean tho there was hot water. If you need hookups, this place is right on highway 60 so convenient.lots of stickers in the grass- beware if you have furry friends.

Free county park

Beautiful spot next to golf course. However, rv hookups are next to where they were watering the grass when we arrived Thursday afternoon so we had to dodge the sprinklers to set up. But very quiet and the oil field smell noted by others was not very pronounced

The camp at cloudcroft

Wonderful campground within walking distance of town of Mayhill. Level spots, good hookups, friendly hosts, and beautiful setting. Bring all your supplies though- not much in town except for cafe, convenience store and hotel. Lots of campers have hummingbird feeder’s and there are many hummingbirds here.
