Awesome forest get away

Brought our 8 foot travel trailer, and made a reservation in advance. They left our pre ordered firewood at our camp spot, so rad! Camp spots were nice sized and not too close surrounded by Beautiful ancient trees :) had a lovely time hiking down to the river as well.

Great quick get away from the city

Beautiful campground

Reservation highly recommended, we got super lucky and was given a spot that had been recently cancelled. Decent facilities, pay showers. The reservoir was beautiful, for the middle of nowhere Nebraska :)

Gorgeous scenery and great camping sites

It’s a beautiful stay! Campground was decently busy but our site felt private and chill. Camp host wasn’t there while we were visiting. The views are awesome! Bathroom lights didn’t work/cold shower/dirty. But the site was awesome with a little wind barrier structure and picnic table overlooking the reservoir

Incredible views!

We rolled in just for a night and I was pretty blown away by how beautiful the landscape is! Our map took us to the western entrance but we barely made it far down the road it was so gravely and wavy, our little trailer wasn’t handling it well. So we had to backtrack and drive an hour around the park to the other entrance. Only complaint is it was super difficult to find the pay station. We drove around a while looking for it. The views and little hike we took was awesome and we will definitely be back!

Oasis in the high desert

I’ve camped here twice in the last couple years. The hot spring is incredible. 24/7 access to the spring and no extra fee (comes with your camping fee) they’ve got all sorts of lodging accommodations. First time I was car camping, second time I brought a camper. Both times it’s been lovely and I always recommend it to friends
