This is a great place for hiking, swimming, and kayaking. I loved the swimming beach it’s so clean and big that can never be too crowded.

They have an overflow camp area if campsites are full. I went late and was still able to camp at the overflow area. It’s right next to lake superiors and is a nice place to swim, kayak, and paddle board. It has a playground. Morning can be sunny without shades.

This campground is very close to Barfield. Campers can explore places nearby such as the Madeline Island. It’s very shady and provide good camping feels.

This campground close to many areas such as the lake McDonald’s, the visitor center, and the village. I walked to those places after a long day of hiking and exploring glacier national park. No showers but bathroom has outlet.
