Dispersed camping, no amenities, but beautiful location. Little streams running nearby, wildlife viewing, the drive up the slope is beautiful as well

Ute Campground is a sweet little camping spot, just a turn off of hwy 160 between Bayfield and Pagosa Springs. Nice flat spacious campsites with picnic tables and a fire ring. Dirt roads were great for the kids to ride bikes. Endless hiking options. Wildlife viewing. Chimney rock across just across the road

This lovely campsite is just minutes from town, but feels like you are miles into the wilderness. Spacious, well kept campsites with fire ring, picnic tables, restrooms and potable water available. Hiking and biking trails are easy to access and provide stunning views. We can’t wait to return!
