A Great KOA in the Methow Valley

This KOA is a great campground, it's clean, it's centrally located to the town of Winthrop and there are close by amenities for groceries, etc. A very kid friendly place to stay as well. They even have some sites that are fenced for privacy and these sites have a hot tub and grill.

Small & Open Campground

This campground has one loop and it is very open to your neighbors. The fort itself is an easy walk to go and explore the history of the area, plus it also has some fantastic views of the Puget Sound. The Port Townsend ferry is right there so you can enjoy watching the ferry come and go. It would also be a great day excursion to walk onto the ferry and spend the day walking around and exploring Port Townsend, it's about a 30 min ferry boat ride too.

I did a Speed Test here at this campground as well but i cannot find the screen capture of the report but with my T-mobile hotspot I was getting 5 bars and had speedy internet to be able to work from this site if necessary in the future.

A Quick Escape

This is a great campground, it only has one loop of camping and it's a small county park, but surprisingly the sites are not on top of each other and there is good privacy between sites. It is designated as a 'dry' campground, but I think as long as you're not being obnoxious you are ok. For those with RVs/Trailers there is no dump station at this park and the sites do not have a sewer hookup.

Give this new world of remote work, I also included a SpeedTest if someone is considering to work from a campsite.
