Need to know!!!

This campground has potential but there is many discrepancies. What would pertain to all campers is the fact that most of the first sites installed have the electrical and sewer hookups positioned towards the front of the pads. Clearly an oversight in the development of the sites. As long as the pads are, you can’t back in a larger rig all the way in and you can’t park in the space without hanging out on the road and still hook up with a standard rv power cord. They do sell them for $249 in their general store. Also, the differences in each site is only location not additional amenities. They describe other sites having gas grill, chairs, fishing piers and such. None of this is installed yet. There are maybe 2 sites that have shade. Otherwise, the installed trees and plantings are way too immature to offer shade. At least for the first 10 years. There is no privacy at any site so I suggest booking closer to the lake if you would like to swim and take advantage of the pool house once it’s open. The swimming lake is a clay bottom so it’s very murky. Didn’t seem to bother kids. Staff was friendly and understanding that website promised much more than delivery. They refunded a portion of the fees. I think a simple call or email might have prevented a lot of grief of expecting one thing and arriving to have less than half of it.

Clean and well maintained

Great place. Site 19 has great privacy and view of woods. Only 2 miles from Itchetucknee. Would’ve been better if playground was a bit more present for littles. Very tiny setup. Pool house is fantastic and very nice for entertaining on rainy days. Love the gravel pads. Pulled 41 ft fifth wheel and had plenty of room.
