This is a nice place to stay if you need somewhere to sleep last minute, but the sites are so close together with no privacy. Nearly every site had kids running around screaming so I don’t suggest it if you’re wanting a peaceful stay.
I absolutely loved staying here. Even though the sites are a little close together, there are enough trees for privacy. The wildlife is so cool. Great spot for birdwatching! Be wary of bears though. Each site provides a bear box to help ward them off. We ended up car camping just to be safe. The trails are awesome. I definitely recommend staying here if you want to get the full experience of Crater Lake.
Just like any place, be prepared for some not-so-great neighbors. It’s a gorgeous spot right on Union Creek with lots of sites. We ended up doing a last minute trip here because the Natural Bridge sites were all taken, and we snagged the last spot here. Endless hiking, and so many great spots to find on the creek that is ice cold all year! I couldn’t help but jump in :)
This is one of our favorite go-to places, but be prepared there are no reservations! It’s a small area with 17 sites right on a lazy part of the Rogue. Beautiful hiking and site seeing. 10/10 recommend
