Stayed at this campground while visiting family. The facilities are great, but you can tell it is a very new campground by the lack of mature trees for shade. Fortunately, we were not at camp during the heat of the day. We would stay here again and bring the cousins to play at the water park.
We stayed here to break up our longer trip and were pleasantly surprised by the miles of trails our dogs loved. The pull through site was mostly level and made for quick setup and teardown. We were also pleased that AT&T and T-Mobile were good enough for remote work and some light videogames while we escaped the heat of the afternoon.
We enjoyed the view of the lake all weekend. Cell service for Verizon and AT&T were good enough to work from the camper and T-Mobile was non-existent. Campground hosts were very nice when we interacted with them. The beach area was a plus for us as our dogs love to swim and it is only open to campers so there was no one around when we were there.
Great place to kick back and relax. The trail through the campground takes you across the river where you can find canoe and paddle boat rentals, and our favorite an off leash do area. We all took the trail into town and found a BIT Brewery where we enjoy woodfired pizza and brought some beer home in a growler for around the fire that night.
