We stayed August 2020. We reserved campsite months ahead of time. Spent four days and had a great time. Came back down to town for a few days then went back up to see if we could get a first come first serve spot. We were lucky enough to get one so we stayed for 14 days after that. It's beautiful. A little close to the road but who cares. Camp hosts are great. Hiking trails. We saw some deer right across from our camp. Cooler temps are awesome coming out of the Vegas heat in summer. Electrical hookups and community water space evenly between the campsites. Campsites are well spaced out. Restrooms down the road but not too far. Comes with a tent pad at each spot. Only about 20 minutes back into town for supplies. Can't wait to go back!
We had a good time here. Camp spots are fairly spread out and mostly flat. We camp with travel trailer so we stay closer to the road but it's not busy. Trying to take it up the dirt roads was a bit rugged so we came back down. Beautiful scenery. Quiet. Temps cooler than in town. Some off road vehicles, but not a problem for us. Last time we were there someone had left a bunch of trash so that part wasn't cool. We had cell service.
