A True Minnesota Jewel

The park is a little off the beaten path so quiet on the whole. Jay Cooke has many miles of walking trails and the swinging bridge (St. Louis River) is a must see and a must cross. Campsites are fairly secluded and heavily wooded. Spend a few days at Jay Cooke, there is much to see.

Right in Cloquet

Nice little RV park right in the town of Cloquet. There are a few tent sites right against the river. On the west end of the property is access to a pedestrian bridge where you may find some fisherman in the summer. You can walk to the Northeastern Bar of the coffee shop. Nice little stopping spot if you are headed to the BWCAW or the Range.

Wooded and Secluded

The Fall Lake Campground is one of the most beautiful in the north woods. Sites are heavily wooded and secluded from the other sites. The campground is a pretty good haul from Ely so you don't have a lot of traffic in and out of the campground. Fall Lake is an entry to the BWCAW so all you have to do is launch your canoe and paddle accross the lake and you are in the Boundary Waters. I have caught a lot of Northern and Small Mouth just north of the boat ramp.
