Very nice national park. Very clean. Lots of animals to see. Gentlemen at the gate was very knowledgeable and had all of the information about the park.
There are 4 different areas of the campground. The one that I stayed in is really just a gravel parking lot and very tight. Two of the other areas seem to have long timers and the other is a tent area. I’m glad I am only here a couple days. It is very close to entrance to the caverns.
The traffic noise is nonstop. I know I should have seen it coming. Trucks (Jake Brakes) Trains, airplanes. Small park. Very tiny sites but they have mostly drive throughs.
Nice campground. Sites are good size. Clean area. Quiet place except for road noise. Close to Quartzite and Parker.
Nice little campground. Small town atmosphere. Seems to be a nightly stop for most. Fills up in the afternoon and empties out in the morning. I stayed 2 nights just to check out the town. If you’re not a trucker then not much to do.
Nice desert camping. Joshua tree is awesome if you are into sightseeing. The rock formations are incredible. If you like hiking (without your pet) then you should enjoy this area. The drive through the park is beautiful. Smaller rigs only. Not very level sights.
Ok park. Same as most in this area. Hundreds of miles of open land and they sites are as tight as could be. Nice people. Mostly full timers.
Very nice place. Kept very clean. Staff very friendly. Resort type feel. A bit pricey for me but if you need/want all of the amenities it’s probably worth it. The only negative I could find is the train traffic is noisy and frequent.
Nice little campground. Quiet except for the trains coming through at night. Nothing they can do about that. Front office lady was Very nice and helpful with my questions. Fills up later in the day as it seems to be used for overnights and short stays. 40.00 night with Good Sam’s. I would definitely stop by again if I’m coming through. Basic laundry facilities but worked out well for me.
This place is BIG. Very spacious campsites. Wide open so if it’s windy you will feel it. There are deer roaming every morning and evening. Very interesting place but not much to do unless you are able to use the lake. There is a Walmart about a half hour away. Neat little town of Coleman about 10 minutes away has some good restaurants.
Not busy at all this time of year. Nice place. Bathrooms aren’t the greatest but get the job done. Camp hosts nice but doesn’t seem to do much. Trails are ok but more like pathways.
Nice little quiet place. Camp hosts are very nice and helpful. Electric and water at site with dump on property. If you’re interested in fishing it right on the water and I hear it’s good fishing.
