Can't get a better location if you're visiting Mesa Verde. It's a stones throw from the park entrance. The campground is very professionally run& kept very clean. We didn't get a chance to use the amenities but they looked great and I was kind of regretting I didn't book an extra day just to relax and hang out by the pool

Well worth a stop.  Cement pads. very nice and level. Most of the sites have a good bit of shade. No internet, but typical for a park. Beautiful sunsets over the lake and just a few minutes to everything Waco

Close to the highway (aren't they all) so there is some truck noise but a nice safe place to stop for the night. Maybe a touch smaller parking lot than many CB's but no issues
