Pulled in the drive and immediately we see the office on the hill. The lady greeted us very welcoming. Gave us daily rates and weekly rates(vary fair). Spots are kind on a hill but very private too. Has showers, Rec room electric and water at site. Very nice for the price
We got here about 3:30 on a Friday and we got the last spot. They have a lot , but we’re full. The lady at the gate was very nice. It cost $36 for us since we were from out of town. The sites are very nice. Long paved with water and electric on one side and the pick-nik table behind us. It has 1 fire ring/grill in a box area. As crowded as the park seems, it’s very quite. We walked to the river on the hiking path and found some beautiful scenery there. All in all I would suggest staying here, just be sure to reserve first.
We found this spot late in the day. Glad we did because we got the last of the 16 spots. Has beautiful views all around. Runs $10.00 a night so we decided to start with two. Great place to stop and rest up. Very nice hosts who also have firewood.
After finding the place sites were easily seen with big numbers. Sites are side by side with a small gap in between. The lake is walking distance from camp but can not see it from site 27. All in all it’s very nice. Pick nic tables, a pavilion, grill, fire ring , water ,electric plus showers and bathroom all for $15 a night. You can’t go wrong.
Some sites are close together, we had to move so we could get more privacy. It’s an honor pay system. $5.00-$15.00 depending on site. Bath house is single use only(has large lock). Very peaceful and remote feeling.
