Fall camping is the best! The aspens around this beautiful lake are really showing their color.
The campsites are very spacious and spaced well apart.
Flushing toilets and showers are around the campground. Water is available too.
You’re packed in pretty tight here.
Flushing toilets were nice. The showers were on another loop.
No hookups. Fresh water is available.
A little tight backing in. My site was very spacious. Just steps away was a beautiful view of the Tetons. Great space for afternoon cocktails!
The flushing toilets were nice. The showers are very clean. You do have to pay for those.
Kodachrome State Park is just lovely. I camped in the Basin campground. My site was a backin. Full hookups and plenty of space. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. My site was a corner site so I believe it was a bit roomy. The sites are spaced so there is lots of privacy. The best part were the showers! I didn’t want to get out. Flushing toilets and plenty of hot water in the sinks. There isn’t any cell or internet service at the campsite, but the visitors center has it. Several short hikes right there. Bruce NP is about 30 minutes away. I hope to go back!
This is a fun campground. Very few people were there. The campsites are a bit close.
The bathrooms are spa quality. The outdoor showers are very nice. They show a movie every night on an outdoor screen.
Everyone who works there were very accommodating.
Each site is a full hookup. Trash cans are throughout the campground.
Each site has a fire ring.
There are only 11 asphalt paved RV camp sites. There are 14 tent sites.
Each site has a covered pavilion with a picnic table, fire ring and a tent site. Drinking water is located throughout the campground. The bathrooms have flushing toilets and hot water in the sinks. They are spotless! The showers are equally as clean. There are no bad views here! The hiking and biking trails are right there.
This one is one of my favorites!
Go!
We camped here for 3 nights. Electric hookups only. Drinking water spigots are pretty close to sites. The sites are very spacious! Pit toilets and showers are at the campground. The city park, where the campgrounds are, is just moments away from Red Rocks Amphitheater and Denver. There’s a huge trail system through out the park.
Just spent 5 nights here. Full hookups, concrete slab, picnic table and pretty roomy.
Fly fishing on the Rio Grande is just steps away. The restaurant there is very good! Reservations are recommended.
The town of Creed is cute and funky.
I will definitely go back. Loved it there.
My campsite has beautiful views of the valley and the mountains.
Packed in like sardines. Way too close for me. Only spent one night there. I gave it two stars because the staff was very friendly and the showers and bathrooms were spotless!
This is where I camped my last trip of the season, now I’m back for my first trip!
Lovely campground. Asphalt pads, that are level. If you’re just tent camping, you’ll see a spot for tents behind my camper. Each site has a fire ring and a covered picnic table.
The spotless bathrooms have flushing toilets and sinks with soap to wash your hands.
You’re up on a Mesa here. The stars are great…no light pollution here. Moab is about 26 miles away. Island in The Sky, part of Canyonlands NP, is 4 miles away.
I highly recommend this campsite! Bring lots of water, as it has to be trucked in from Moab.
