This campground is located on a small lake with beautiful scenery and is located across the road from an ATV trail. The North County Hiking Trail also runs through this camp. Noisy and quite busy on weekends with all the off road vehicles coming in. The hand pumped water well is currently in need of repair. Trailers much larger than 20’ have camped here successfully.

Friendly and quiet, concrete pads, easy hook-ups, good internet, and paved streets. IMO’s Pizza delivers. Don’t plan to sleep late during the work week though because mowing, weed whacking and leaf blowers may start at 8:00am.

Today they are removing the old concrete pad next to us while we enjoy a late breakfast at 10am. Mowers yesterday, construction today. I’m glad they are doing upgrades, just not during my visit.

Lots to do nearby! Geocaching, canoeing, fishing or hiking to the nearby visitor center with a reproduction logging shanty or the educational programs in the pavilion. There is something for everyone here.

Lots of things to do in this area! The large campground is crowded in summer months and you have to buy tokens to take a shower, but the views and access to the River are spectacular.

Quiet campground with lots to do. Hike to the nearby monument and attend one of their educational programs, visit the museum, take the steps down to the floating shanty, or visit the small store. Float trips available and fishing available nearby.

Lovely views of the lake! Busy, but clean, friendly and quiet. Hiking trails and a playground for the kids.

We were there late in the season and had a lovely, quiet campsite near the River where we fished for our dinner and later built a romantic campfire.

This campground is a hidden gem, close to the small town of Brimley, Michigan where you can purchase forgotten items, visit the library, or visit local tourist attractions. The Lake clear and clean, and the camp is normally quiet. The vault toilets are kept clean and generator curfews are enforced. You can hear the quiet.
