Nice little sute

Burdette Park is on the west side of Evansville. Really nice park! Currently we are full timing there. They have maybe 24 full huck up spots and about 10 or so w/o sewer. 30/50 amp electric on all. All pads are drive through and very level. They don't have much going on in winter but summertime is great. Pool, trails, BMX racing on Friday nights and tons of shelters for your get-togethers! Wonderful camp managers!

Nice location

A park on the outskirts of Evansville Indiana. Has many things to do for the weekend. Many nearby attractions and activities. They have primitive tent sites RV sites with E&W,some also have sewer. Stay the weekend or up to 3 months or longer.

Ok place

Over all a nice place but could be better. Pads are not level. Saw a class A that had front wheels 10" off the ground and a TT with the hitch on the ground. Many sites had drop offs on the door side of the pad so you could not use all the awning space. We fell off the pad several times walking to the fire pit.

Update review

Update review: LOVE this park. Friendly people, great spots and awesome beach/lake. Sopts are 65ft wide, so your not on top of each other. If you got a boat…GO there, the lake is huge!

Great State Park

Great place to take the family for a weekend retreat or a day outing. Nice beach, good fishing and plenty of trails.

Friendly family place

Nice beach, trails and playground. Friendly camper. Pet friendly. Would've given 5 stars but our site was tight. Squeezed between 2 sites, out the front door fight to neighbors sewer hose.

Quiet place to relax and fish.

There are no RV hook ups but it's a great place for a stop over for a picnic. It has a beautiful lake you can fish or just sit back and let the kids play.

Small but nice

The best part of Turkey Run is sugar creek. You can choose 2 different canoe trips.

Great piece of history

Spring Mill State park is a little piece of history that is in the heart of southern Indiana. Here you will find a working frontier village. They have a working blacksmith shop, school and a grist mill with saw mill. You can purchase corn meal freshly ground from the mill. You can watch how they cut boards from logs. All driven from a water wheel that is fed by a natural spring that comes from a cave. Speaking of a cave, they have several caves on site. One of which you can take a boat ride through. Near Spring Mill is a town called Mitchel Indiana, there you will find a museum of Gus Grissom. They have items from his mission into space.  This is just a short trip but well work it. Lincoln SP also has an ampitheater where they have events through summer and fall. Check out the IDNR website for events that are happening.

Visit history

Lincoln State Park is a great place to take the kids, and the kid in yourself. They have a homestead from Abe Lincoln's childhood. You can see how he lived. They also are close to one of the best amusement parks in the country, Holiday World and Splashing Safari. So go here and enjoy a fantastic weekend.

Best place to stay

My family has stayed at Sullivan Lake many times. It is an awesome place to go for a family outing. They have all kinds of camping sites, a huge lake that can support all sizes of family boating. A beach for swimming. Pets are welcome. Check their site for events.

Nice, clean and friendly

West Boggs lake is near the heart of Indiana's Amish country. It has a great lake that has good fishing and the ability to put your boat out. Pets are welcome. They have sites for all forms of camping. We tent camped and had electric and water at site. Great place to ride you bike and visit others.

Friendly, quiet and clean

My wife and I went to Sycamore Springs Park a few weeks ago and stayed for 3 days. We tent camped and it was fantastic. We were right at the lake edge. The campsite had electric but no water, but the water was just across the road at a shelter. The park assigned campers to where they were distanced from each other due to COVID. The showers were the best I've seen, clean and strong pressure. It is also pet friendly. Our Golden loved the camp and the lake. I recommend this camp to all who want a quiet get away.
